While on The Southern Wave, you can lay suspended over the cool waters and under the South Padre Island warm sun on one of our spacious trampolines, or feel free to relax under our comfortable sundeck. For those with a love of speed, The Southern Wave can sail/cruise at speeds upwards of 15 Knots.

In the mornings we offer our guests the unique opportunity to cruise and snorkel in the clear, cool waters of the Laguna Madre, northwest of South Padre Island. Your afternoons can be spent dolphin watching, picnicking on-board, or, even just relaxing and working on your tan while we use our on-board grill to cook up some shrimp and fajitas. We also provide a variety of fresh, locally grown fruit. We provide a wide range of snacks and sodas but sorry, we do not provide alcoholic beverages, feel free to bring your own. The wide Texas skies and the dazzling clear waters of the Laguna Madre provide an unforgettable backdrop to our famous evening dinner cruises. South Padre Island has a proud history of spectacular fireworks displays and on The Southern Wave we take pride in continuing that tradition. On Friday nights during the summer and special events the South Padre Island sky is brilliantly lit with a fireworks display that you are sure to remember for years to come. For you cruising comfort we have a convenient head on board (bathroom to you landlubbers).
