Snorkel on South Padre

What a great way to start your day on South Padre Island.

Join us on The Southern Wave for a 2 1/2 or 3 hours of sailing and snorkeling. You'll be spending your trip sailing to the north end of South Padre where we'll anchor and have a great time sunning, snorkeling and exploring.

Here's what we do

Snorking on South Padre Island - Instruction IncludedWe're not your typical snorkeling trip. There are boats on South Padre Island that will take you for an hour or or so on a snorkel trip and they're priced accordingly. If that's what you want to do, you'll get your moneys worth. On the Southern Wave, we're a morning or afternoon of activity and the sail is as important as the destination. Our spacious boat allows you to lounge on the deck, play with our onboard toys and enjoy local fruits and other culinary treats. Our morning trips are 2 1/2 hours and include breakfast, sodas, bottled water and ice. Feel free to bring a snack or your favorite beverage. We provide all the snorkel gear and instruction if you need it. We may make breakfast tacos with egg, bacon, onions etc. or we might provide a continental breakfast including assorted pastries, fruits and whatever our chef can conjure up.

The afternoon trips are 3 hours and include all your drinks as well as an assortment of fresh fruits and a variety of grilled foods. We vary the menu and it may include, burgers, cheese and crackers, peel and eat shrimp or anything else our chef might decide to through together.

Snorkeling on the Southern Wave on South Padre Island will be a trip to be remembered.Sun Fun and Snorkeling on South Padre Island

We only allow 30 on each snorkel trip so there's plenty of room for all. If you don't want to snorkel, observers can stay on board, eat, drink and soak up the sun.

The waters in the best snorkel areas are shallow and crystal clear. Since the shallow water can get murky, we limit the number of guests to 30 the water stays clean and you get the best out of the experience. Expect to see a wide variety of fish and grasses.

Bring your own snorkel gear if you have it and
don't forget your towel and suntan lotion!
